I have been acquiring photography gear for a number of years now, most of it I have bought second hand. This page is designed to let you see what equipment I own, why I chose it and what I use it for.

The broad sections are cameras, zoom lenses, prime lenses, and accessories. I shall also be adding my computer specs at a later date.
Cameras

Canon 7D + BG-E7 Grip
This was my first and so far, only camera. I had used my dad's Canon 450D for a while, but I decided I wanted to get my own. A friend of mine was upgrading to a 6D and sold this to me second hand in 2013. 5 years later and it is still going strong!

It is a true workhorse, released in 2009, the additional features of this camera have fallen behind modern releases, but for taking photos, it still performs wonderfully. I have the firmware "hack" Magic Lantern installed on all my memory cards as magic lantern adds functionality that was not initially included on the 7D.
